Bathroom Door Sizes
What Fits Your Opening

In Thailand, bathroom and toilet doors come in four standard sizes: 60×180, 60×200, 70×180, and 70×200 cm — with 70×200 cm the most common in homes and condos. Metro-Thai Hitech Group Co., Ltd. manufactures uPVC bathroom doors in all of these sizes, and makes custom sizes to fit any opening. This page shows which size fits which bathroom, and how to measure yours.

Where we deliver: within Thailand (all 77 provinces). Based in Laos, Cambodia, or Myanmar? Message us on Facebook about your project — we are happy to talk, with no obligation.

Why bathroom doors in Thailand are uPVC

100% waterproof

uPVC does not absorb moisture — fine in direct contact with water.

No swelling, no rot

Unlike wood, it will not swell, warp, or crumble in a wet room.

No mould, termite-proof

Does not grow mould in damp air, and termites cannot eat it.

Ventilation options

Choose a flush door with a bottom gap, or a louvred model for airflow.

How to measure your opening before ordering

  1. 1

Measure the width at 3 points

Measure the inside width of the frame opening at the top, middle, and bottom, and use the narrowest value as your ordering width.

  2. 2

Measure the height on both sides

Measure from the floor the door will sweep over up to the top of the opening, on both the left and right sides, and use the smaller value.

  3. 3

Note whether it is the frame opening or the door leaf

Write down clearly whether your numbers are the frame opening or the old door leaf — they are different measurements — and tell us which one so we can confirm before production.

  4. 4

    Compare with the standard sizes

If your measurement matches one of the standard sizes above, you can order an in-stock model straight away.

  5. 5

If nothing matches, order a custom size

Send the width × height in centimetres by Facebook message, phone, or the quote form. Custom production takes about 7–10 days, and you get a written quotation within 24 hours.

Good to know: a uPVC door can be trimmed by up to 2 cm to fit a slightly smaller opening. More than 2 cm off? Order a custom size instead — made in 7–10 days, knob hole drilled free.

Bathroom door questions, answered

What is the standard bathroom door size in Thailand?
The most common bathroom door size in Thai homes and condos is 70 × 200 cm. Other standard sizes are 60 × 180, 60 × 200, and 70 × 180 cm for smaller openings or openings with limited height. If your opening matches none of these, a door can be manufactured to your exact size.
What size is a toilet door?
Toilet and bathroom doors are usually 60–70 cm wide and 180–200 cm tall. Measure the inside of the frame opening — width at 3 points (use the narrowest), height on both sides (use the shorter) — before ordering.
Is a uPVC door good for a toilet or bathroom?
Yes — uPVC is the standard bathroom door material in Thailand because it is 100% waterproof, does not swell or rot, does not grow mould, is termite-proof, and does not spread flame. Louvred models are available for ventilation.
My opening does not match any standard size. What do I do?
Two options: a uPVC door can be trimmed (planed) by up to 2 cm to fit, or — if the difference is more than 2 cm — order a door manufactured to your actual opening. Custom production takes about 7–10 days, with the knob hole drilled free at the factory.
Should a bathroom door have ventilation?
Bathrooms need airflow, so either leave a gap at the bottom of the door or choose a model with louvres. Metro-Thai makes both flush and louvred uPVC bathroom doors.
Can I order a bathroom door from outside Thailand?
We currently deliver within Thailand only — we do not offer export or international shipping. If you are in Laos, Cambodia, or Myanmar and have a project, message us on Facebook and tell us about it; we are happy to discuss options with no obligation.
